The purpose of the event was to promote the intellectual tradition of African-American, African and Islamic authors and activists as they relate to contemporary issues of justice and peace. To associate the intellectual traditions of African-American, African and Islamic authors and activists into academic coursework. To advocate student initiative and academic programs that address issues of injustices

Fourth Annual Malcolm X Justice and Peace Lecture Series

The fourth annual Malcolm X Justice and Peace Lecture Series with Imam Saraj Wahaj will take place at Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) on April 20, 2016. The lecture series exists to promote the intellectual traditions of African-American, African and Islamic authors and activists as they relate to contemporary issues of justice and peace. Past keynote speakers have included Prof. Farid Esack and Sohail Daulatzai.
