In The Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful Salam Brothers and Sisters I hope every one is in the best of health. Alhamdulillah we had our 4th board meeting this year and with the help of our brothers and sisters we had a successful Dawa/info tabling in the Sky way. Inshallah we used this opportunity to reach out to the MCTC student body. On behalf of MSA I would like to thank all those who helped out. Those who came early in the morning to set up the table and be prepared. Those who were consistent and ready to sit at the table and answer questions. May Allah reward those who work for his cause and inshallah with Allah's help MSA will prosper. MSA is really blessed to have such dedicated members. The MSA would also like to thank all the Muslim and non-Muslim students who came to the table and asked questions. We want to thank all of them for helping out MSA by signing up as Volunteers/Members, asking questions or even showing their appearance. It is important for MSA to see the type of support it has so we can be able to improve our service to the Student body. Because one of our main objective of MSA is to serve the Muslim body at MCTC. We make it a priority to accommodate the Muslims on campus. We also make an effort to connect the Muslim body with the general student body because we believe building a strong community is the key to success. On the other hand I think the tabling this week was very useful to MSA and the Students. We had about 5 non-Muslims who came and asked questions about MSA and most importantly about Islam. They were all great people may Allah open thier hearts to the truth. In conclusion MSA would like to thank all those who helped out and participated. May Allah make everything easy for all of you. Amen ****Check the website for updates on Halaqa, tabling, Jummah Prayer and other events coming up. Make sure you mark your calenders for the GENERAL STUDENT BODY MEETING on NOV 4, 2009 Inshallah it will be a BLAST. Reminder for All Ibn Mas`ood, raDiallaahu `anhu, said: "True knowledge is not measured in relationship to how much you memorize and then narrate, but rather, true knowledge is an expression of piety [protecting oneself from what Allaah prohibited and acting upon what He mandated]."Also, "Study and act upon what you learn."
